Tami Hartman - Co-owner of SHS and Certified Pole Instructor
I began my pole journey in the winter of 2011 and immediately fell in love. As a 52 year old mother and grandmother, I found this sport to be both exciting and empowering. It's an all over body work-out that leaves you feeling empowered both physically and mentally. As our passion for the sport grew, we decided to share our new discovery with others and Spinning Harts was soon born. I am a certified pole instructor through Discoveries Dance and I am currently working on my group fitness certification. We truly hope you join us in your fitness journey and we look forward to meeting you.
Heather Hartman - Co-owner of SHS and Certified Pole Instructor
I’ve always had a passion for dance and it’s been an integral part of my life. After studying ballroom and belly dance, I found Pole in January of 2011. I took my first class alongside my sister, Tami, and we immediately fell in love. My goal in each of my classes is to show, by example, how beautiful everyone is and how they can build inner confidence and empowerment through pole. From personal experience, I know that pole can be a life changing journey.
With the love and support of our family, Tami and I decided to open a Pole studio and in March of 2015 SHS was born. Not long after, I was certified in pole instruction thru Discoveries Dance, Pound certified, FabPole certified and most recently, certified to teach Yoga Trapeze. Juggling a full-time programming career, family and our pole family can at times be quite challenging, but I have found that it only makes each moment together all the more precious.
I feel extremely honored to have opened SHS along side of my beautiful sister and to share this passion… this love, with all who choose to walk thru our doors.
Shanrica Pine - Certified Pole Instructor
Hi, my name is Shanrica (Rica for short), and I have been pole dancing now for a little over a year. In this short time, I have completely fallen in love with any and everything pole. I admire the strength, confidence, and security that pole has a way of bringing out in women and men alike. Pole has been such a wonderful outlet for me, one that quickly became a passion.
My goal as a pole artist is to continue training, competing, and teaching pole dance fitness as well as gaining knowledge, skills, and techniques by attending workshops, trainings, and events all over the US. I hope to inspire others to find their personal passions whether it's on or off the pole.
As an instructor, the safety of the individuals I teach come first and the reason I obtained my certification in pole dance instruction. I am also CPR/First Aid/AED certified for both adults and pediatrics.
Rachel Loftis - Certified Pole Instructor
Rachel began her fitness journey in 2014 as a powerlifter while living in Las Vegas. She went on to compete in a few local competitions placing first as the strongest female and overall in pounds lifted. In 2017, following a lower back injury and seeking a way to stay fit, Rachel discovered pole dancing and quickly became enamored by it and the community. After moving to PA, she decided she wanted to teach so that she could provide students with the sense of strength, empowerment, fulfillment, self-love and acceptance that the teachers before her did.
Madi - Certified Pole Instructor
Madi came to Spinning Harts in search of fun exercise. She found that pole offers so much more than that. Pole quickly became a hobby that developed into a passion. As a survivor of sexual assault who struggled with confidence and body image, pole allowed Madi to express herself through dance when words did not suffice. Pole is an outlet for which Madi is eternally grateful, and Spinning Harts gave her a place to experiment and grow. The encouragement from her pole family has been a light in difficult times. She hopes to help others feel beautiful and confident and help them find strength and empowerment through channeling their emotions in their pole dancing.
Christine Cassel - Certified Pole Instructor
Christine has been an avid pilates practitioner since 2009. However, one day her class was canceled and she went next door to Spinning Harts, met Heather, and discovered how much fun Pole Dancing is. Within 2 years, she pursued her Discoveries Dance Certification so that she could share this challenging, creative and expressive dance with others. She continues to study and train in pilates as well as interval training and incorporates these elements into her classes. Her goal is to allow each student to grow at their own pace-- embracing and showcasing their particular strengths. Pole is a means to strength, grace and confidence.

Aerial Alexandra - Handstand Instructor
Aerial Alexandra was a competitive gymnast for a decade until graduating high school in 2011. While pursuing her degree in Occupational Therapy, she missed the athleticism of gymnastics.
